SXSW Official Showcases 2015

Kink Ador has been selected as an official performer at SXSW 2015 in Austin, TX.  The band will be playing two showcases:

• Lamberts on Wednesday, March 18 from 8:00 PM to 8:40 PM Presented By SESAC
• 720 Club on Thursday, March 19 from 11:00 PM to 11:40 PM

Update! Release Show Thurs Feb 26th at The High Watt

We have the album release show rescheduled for Thursday Feb 26th at the High Watt in Nashville. We had to cancel the original date due to the ice storms at the end of last week! But we are now good to go. The show starts early on Thursday, doors at 7pm, Hollywood Kills at 8pm, Justin Kalk at 9pm, and Kink Ador at 10.

Album Release Show Announced! Feb 20th Nashville

We are so happy to announce our album release show for Friday February 20th at 12th and Porter in Nashville, TN. The show will feature Kink Ador headlining the show, with Justin Kalk Orchestra, and the Hollywood Kills. We have spent the last year getting the album "Set Me Free" ready for you, with lots of late night recording sessions, song rewrites and broken guitar strings, but now the album is ready for you! New Music Video "Road to Hell" released!

It is part sci-fi adventure and part Andy Warhol retro rock party. Introducing a brand new song and music video from Kink Ador. This video was filmed in Nashville, TN by the superstar director Seth Graves, with lighting design by John Walker. The video takes you on an interstellar adventure straight to hell. Enjoy the ride.

We just finished filming the video for the song "Road to Hell." It's a sci-fi Andy Warhol space adventure. Here's a sneak peak at the imagery.

New Music Video! Sunshine

We happily present to you the music video for Sunshine. We filmed this with the help of director Ian Maravalli in Nashville, TN. We also spent one long weekend with a rented Go Pro camera to get some of the footage, totally worth it. Enjoy.

Sunshine - New Single

To celebrate the close of our fundraiser we released a new single this week to the donors.  We just finished all the fundraising and are now beginning the record making process. We hope to wrap by the end of summer.  It is a very exciting project and we want to share this early single with you too.  It's just in time for warmer weather. It is called "Sunshine." USA/Canada Tour announced - March 2013

Happy New Year! Live from NYE 'Pilgrim Song'

Happy New Year! Can you believe it is 2013 and the world did not end? Now we have more time to get to all those resolutions to make more peace, love, and happiness. Kink Ador rang in the new year together at Nashville's best rock club, 12th and Porter. The show was a sellout and the energy was phenomenal.



Here is a live video from the show of the Pilgrim Song.  The chorus is "Across the land, across the sea, some lay above, some lay below, Oh hear them sing the Pilgrim song, hear the call of progress, progress." I think it is a fitting theme for the new year, carve your own path. This song will be on the new album when we finish the fundraiser.

Free World Album Preview - Leave This City

Kink Ador is in the process of running an "In Cash or In-Kind" fundraiser at http://www.kinkador.com/donate and to celebrate we have created a full length preview of the song "Leave This City."  This song is off the upcoming album, it is one of the tracks recorded at Red Bull Studios in Santa Monica, CA. This was all with the support of Red Bull Soundstage.  Now it's up to us to finish it!

Indie Music Week Canada 2012 with Kink Ador

Announced today, Kink Ador will be showcasing at Indie Music Week International, in Toronto, ON, Canada. The festival dates run from Oct 10-14th, 2012.
